Our public school system, Marietta City Schools, includes six elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Along with sound fundamentals, all students receive instruction in art, music and physical education. There are as many as five years of instruction in foreign language available for high school students and advanced placement courses in French and Spanish. Junior and Senior students may enroll in college classes at select local colleges and universities.
Students consistently score above Ohio and national means on standardized tests while a number of students have achieved National Merit Semifinalist and National Merit Commended Scholar status.
